Army soldier arrested in Poddala
A person who stole four chickens has been arrested by the Poddala Police last night (21).
It is reported that the suspect is an Army soldier residing in the Anduratwila area in Poddala.
The suspect has been arrested following a complaint lodged by a resident of Walpita, Poddala that four chickens worth around Rs. 2,500 had been stolen.
The suspect is to be produced before the Galle Magistrate's Court today (22), police said.
