Earth tremor reported in Eastern sea
An earth tremor with a magnitude of 4.0 was reported in the Panama sea off the coast of Ampara today.
The report was issued by the Seismic Data and Tsunami Alert Centre of the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau of Sri Lanka.
The Centre said the earthquake had occurred 10 km deep in the sea.
It further said the tremor was reported nearly 28 km south of Panama.
