
389 Sri Lankans stranded overseas repatriated
Another 389 Sri Lankan workers who were unable to return to Sri Lanka from the United Arab Emirates had arrived on the island this morning in two planes.
The first flight arrived on the island from Abu Dhabi at around 04:00 a.m. with 238 Sri Lankans on board.
The other plane arrived at 04.55 a.m. and 151 Sri Lankans staying in Dubai arrived on the island, the Hiru correspondent at the airport said.
