Another new COVID variant reported from UK
Foreign Media has reported that scientists have identified another new variant of COVID-19 (B.1.525) which appears to be similar to the South African variant.
It has also prompted door-to-door tests in areas where cases were found.
So far, researchers of the Edinburgh University has found 38 cases of the new variant - two cases in Wales and 36 in England - while testing samples dating as far as December.
It was also seen in countries like Denmark, Nigeria and the United States
