Skeleton remains of a dead body tied to a motorcycle recovered from Mawak Oya
Skeleton remains of a dead body, tied to a motorcycle have been recovered from Mawak Oya in Horana.
Police have commenced investigations after two Fishermen who went fishing in Mawak Oya have seen this and informed the police.
Initial investigations have revealed that the murdered body of the victim, who is yet to be identified, has been tied to a motorcycle using a rope. With other body parts decayed, only the skeleton had remained as investigators suspect that the murder would have take place about a month back.
The recovered motorcycle did not have a number plate and the police said that they have deployed several teams to conduct further investigations on this murder.
