Burial or cremation: Pakistan PM welcomes news regarding COVID burials
Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan has welcomed the granting of permission to bury the bodies of Muslims who succumbed to COVID-19 infection
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa stated in Parliament yesterday (10) that permission will be granted for the burial of the bodies of those who died of COVIDinfection.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan said in a Twitter message that he welcomes Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa's assurance in this regard.
Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka on 22 February and will also address Parliament. He is the third Pakistani leader to address Sri Lankan Parliament after Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Mohammad Ayub Khan.
