Surgical gauze to be manufactured locally
The State Ministry of Batik, Handloom and Local Apparel Products has taken steps to locally manufacture and supply surgical gauze to the Medical Supplies Unit of the Ministry of Health to encourage local manufacturers.
State Minister of Batik, Handloom and Local Apparel Products, Dayasiri Jayasekara and State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals, Prof. Channa Jayasumana have reached an agreement in this regard yesterday (08).
