Parliament to convene from today
Parliamentary sessions will be held for four days from today (09) to Friday.
Accordingly, Secretary-General of Parliament Dhammika Dasanayake stated that the regulations under the Employees Provident Fund Act presented by the Minister of Labor to Parliament on January 20 will be taken up for debate today.
Accordingly, Parliament will convene from today to Thursday (11) from 10:00 a.m. to 05:30 p.m. and on Friday (12) from 10:00 a.m. to 04:30 p.m.
Questions to be submitted to the Prime Minister by Members of Parliament tomorrow (10) will also be answered.
Meanwhile, Serjeant-at-Arms Narendra Fernando has invited all MPs to participate for the random PCR test conducted at the Parliament premises from 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
