Colombo Stock Exchange continues to be one of the world's most active markets
The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has announced that the overall price index of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) is the highest performing index in the global stock market.
At the close of trading on the 5th, the Colombo Stock Exchange's All Share Price Index stood at 8,275.73, a growth of 22.11% so far this year.
Accordingly, the growth will surpass all other global price indices, according to a statement issued by the Colombo Stock Exchange.
The S&P Sri Lanka Twenty Index, which represents the top 20 companies in the stock market, also showed significant growth this year, reaching 3304.03 after the last trading day.
Accordingly, the index has increased by 25.2% in the year 2021
