First bio-gas power plant to be built in Matara
Minister of Power Dullas Alahapperuma stated that 400 kilowatts of electricity are expected to be added to the national grid from the country's first bio-gas plant to be constructed in Matara in October this year.
He said this while participating in an inspection tour of the relevant project being constructed in the Kotawila, Matara yesterday (01).
An amount of Rs. 64 million was invested in this project.
