Sri Lanka COVID vaccination: Dr Ananda Wijewickrama to become first medical officer to receive jab
Dr Ananda Wijewickrama of the National Infectious Diseases Hospital will become the first medical officer to receive the Indian COVISHIELD vaccine.
Coronavirus vaccination program in Sri Lanka commenced today, using Indian COVISHIELD vaccine and three military personnel at Army hospital in Narahenpita to become the first to receive the vaccine.
