
Fire at four-storey building in Battaramulla
A fire has broken out in a four-storey building in front of a private bank in Battaramulla last night.
The fire brigade of the Kotte Municipal Council stated that three fire engines were deployed to control the fire that broke out on the fourth floor of the building.
Accordingly, the fire was brought under control last night and the damage caused to the furniture shop on that floor was not assessed yet.
