Colombo District reports highest number of COVID patients yesterday
Among the 772 COVID patients reported yesterday (27), the highest number of COVID patients were identified from the Colombo District which was 189 patients.
From the Gampaha District, 178 cases were reported, while 93 cases were reported from the Kalutara District.
Since the beginning of the second coronavirus wave on 04 October, from the Colombo District 23,638 COVID patients were reported.
During the same period, 12,470 COVID patients were reported from the Gampaha District, while 4,717 COVID patients were reported from the Kalutara District.
The total number of COVID cases in Sri Lanka stands at 60,694, while 52,566 have recovered with 7,838 still receiving treatment.
