Another 326 Sri Lankans repatriated
Another 326 Sri Lankans who were stranded overseas due to the travel restrictions imposed in view of the COVID-19 pandemic have arrived on the island via the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake.
The correspondent at the airport stated that the group arrived on the island by 6 flights within 24 hours ending at 8.30 am today.
The group included 152 Sri Lankans from Dubai and 70 Sri Lankans from the Maldives.
Another 425 Sri Lankans left for employment and education abroad during that period.
