Colombo District reports highest number of COVID patients yesterday
Among the 724 COVID patients that were reported yesterday (23), the highest number of cases were reported from the Colombo District, which was 197 COVID patients.
From the Kandy District, 110 COVID patients were identified, while 106 COVID patients were identified from the Gampaha District.
Kalutara District had only reported 28 COVID cases yesterday (23).
Since the beginning of the second COVID wave from 04 October, the Colombo District has reported 22,373 COVID patients.
During the same period, 11,986 cases were reported from the Gampaha District, while 4,370 COVID patients were reported from the Kalutara District.
