Thisara Perera given a final warning by SLC
Sri Lanka Cricket has advised all-rounder Thisara Perera to avoid engaging in debates with cricketers on social media.
Its internal sources say that this has been issued as the first and last warning.
It is said that this warning was issued due to a dispute between Thisara Perera and former cricketer Shehan Jayasuriya last week.
It is reported that several parties have requested Sri Lanka Cricket to intervene in the incident.
However, the main party in this case, Shehan Jayasuriya, has left for Sri Lanka Cricket and settled in the United States.
Thisara Perera's wife and Shehan Jayasuriya's controversial conversation created a heated discussion on social media.
