The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) says that it has facilitated online filing of complaints from foreign workers.

Accordingly, the complaint of the migrant worker can be directed to the website of the Foreign Service Bureau www.slbfe.lk  by the migrant worker or a relative.

The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) announced that the service can be obtained by entering the passport number, name, telephone number and complaint of the migrant worker.

Once the relevant complaint is forwarded to the designated section of the Bureau, a text message will be sent back to the mobile phone.

Also, this online facility allows users to lodge a complaint on a mobile phone or computer without having to go to the embassy of the country where the worker is working.

The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) also announced that even a relative of a migrant worker's family can lodge a complaint by mobile phone or computer without coming to the Bureau or Provincial Office.
