273 dilapidated SLTB buses repaired & added to service
Under the patronage of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, 273 buses belonging to the Sri Lanka Transport Board which were taken out of service due to dilapidation were repaired and re-added to the passenger transport system this morning, at Galle Face Green, Colombo.
The Presidential Media Unit announced that these buses will be used for passenger transport needs on rural roads throughout the island.
At a cost of Rs. 115 million, 273 buses that were completely out of service at 107 depots islandwide have been repaired.
