Six killed in road accidents in last 24 hours

Six persons were killed and two others were injured in road accidents in the past 24 hours.

The police stated that the accident took place on the Wellawaya - Thanamalwila road, Galle bend, Embilipitiya - Nonagama road, junction 42, Anuradhapura - Rambewa, Dambulla - Kurunegala road, Nekatta junction, Wattakachchiya area on the Kilinochchi - Wattakachchi road and Galewala on the Dambulla - Kurunegala road.
