Unrest at Mahara Prison: Seven bodies identified - will not be buried or cremated
Police Media Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana stated that seven of the 11 inmates who died in the Mahara prison unrest were identified. He said that postmortem examinations on four of the bodies were completed.
However, the bodies will not be cremated or buried and will be kept in the freezer of the Ragama Hospital morgue until a court order is issued, the Police Spokesperson said.
