COVID cases in Iran exceed one million
With the 13,922 COVID cases that were reported yesterday (03), the total number of COVID patients in Iran exceeded one million.
The death toll also increased to 49,348 with the 358 deaths that were reported yesterday (03).
ranian Health Minister Saeed Namaki has acknowledged that the death toll from these infections could be even higher.
The spread of COVID-19 in Iran began on 19 February with the death of two elderly people infected with the coronavirus in the holy city of Qom.
