US COVID deaths hits a record high
The number of COVID deaths reported in a day from the US hit a record high yesterday (03) with a record of 3,100 deaths.
This is the first time that more than 3,000 COVID deaths were reported in a day in any country in the world.
The number of hospital admissiont in a day has exceeded 100,000, while the number of COVID patients that were reported in a day exceeded 200,000.
US President-elect Joe Biden has requested the public in an effort to control the pandemic to wear face masks during the first 100 days of his term.
The total number of coronavirus patients stands at 14,535,196, while the death toll stands at 282,829.
