Legal action against those who refuse PCR testing
There are reports of some persons avoiding the PCR testing process despite requests have made for them to undergo PCR tests, said Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana.
The DIG said that investigations are underway to arrest such persons.
Further, legal action will be taken against those who refuse PCR testing, under quarantine laws, he added.
Meanwhile, 29 Grama Niladhari Divisions islandwide have been declared as isolated areas.
The Police Media Spokesman stated that 13 Grama Niladhari Divisions in the Colombo District, 05 Grama Niladhari Divisions in the Gampaha District, 09 Grama Niladhari Divisions in the Kalutara District, and 02 Grama Niladhari Divisions in the Kandy District have been isolated in this manner.
