Father of two detected for covid -19 during random PCR test at a checkpoint
The Ambagamuwa Medical Officer of Health stated that a 44 year old father of two who came to his house in the Abbotsleigh Estate in Hatton from Bambalapitiya was detected for covid-19 infection today.
On the 22nd, he was returning to his home in Hatton from Colombo when a random PCR test was done near the Ginigathhena-Kalugala police post.
The test result has identified him as an infected person.
Nearly 100 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the Nuwara Eliya district. Yesterday 11 people were identified with the virus.
