Covid insurance for SLTB passengers
The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) has decided to set up a Covid Security Fund for passengers traveling in SLTB buses.
Accordingly, a rupee will be allocated to the fund from the bus fare charged from each passenger, said its chairman Attorney Kingsley Ranawaka.
Under this program, it is planned to pay compensation if a person becomes infected with coronavirus due to traveling in a SLTB bus.
