Call to amend decision to open schools tomorrow
Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers Union Joseph Stalin proposes that schools should reopen tomorrow (23) only for grades 11 to grades 13.
He questions the planned opening of the schools for the third term tomorrow from grades six to grades 13.
According to education ministry secretary Prof. Kapila Perera, arrangements are in place for schools, excepting in the western province and in isolated areas, to reopen in accordance with proper health measures.
