121 repatriated Sri Lankans return, another 296 scheduled to return today (21): NOCPCO

COLOMBO (News 1st): Another batch of 121 Sri Lankans who were stranded overseas due to the COVID-19 pandemic, returned to the island on Saturday (Nov. 21).

58 people from India, 21 from Abu Dhabi, and 42 from Doha Qatar have returned to the island so far today, the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said on Saturday.

According to the NOCPCO, another 296 passengers from Qatar are also scheduled to arrive today.

All passengers who return to the island will be quarantined following PCR tests.

Meanwhile, a total of 3894 people are currently quarantined at 38 centres across the island.
