Rashmika Mandanna will reportedly be teaming up with actor Akhil Akkineni for the first time for an upcoming yet-untitled film. The project, which will be directed by Surender Reddy, will begin shooting early next year.

Sources reveal that actress Rashmika Mandanna might be roped in to play Akhil’s pair in the upcoming film. The makers are expected to officially announce the news in just a few days. Currently, the director is penning the script down and it will take some time for everything to get finalised. The narration and script of Surender has that unique touch that will be appreciated by a cross-section of the audience sources added. The film will be bankrolled by AK Entertainments.

Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna has a string of films in her pipeline. She will feature in Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa. Helmed by Sukumar, the film also stars Dhananjay, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Harish Uthaman, Vennela Kishore, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Anish Kuruvilla and Brahmanandam in significant roles. She will commence filming her upcoming Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya in January. She will be seen romancing Ram Charan in the film. Rashmika has teamed up with Sharwanand for Kishore Tirumala’s Aadavaallu Meeku Joharlu.
