Isolated areas might be permitted to reopen next week - Army Commander
The Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva stated that attention is being paid to open isolated areas next week excluding the areas that are still at high risk.
Speaking to the Hiru news team he said that they are currently studying information in this regard.

Meanwhile, the Panadura North Police have arrested a teacher who was conducting tuition classes in the Thotawatte area in Panadura at a time when private tuition classes have been suspended.
All the students who participated in the tuition class have been directed to self-quarantine at home and the police stated that action will be taken against the teacher concerned.
