Second terminal at the Katunayake Airport
Work on the second terminal project at the Bandaranaike International Airport commenced yesterday. The Prime Minister's Office stated that Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa was present at the occasion.
The construction of these projects commenced yesterday marking the 75 birthday of the Prime Minister and the completion of one year in office for the President.
The Prime Minister's Office further stated that the International Airport Modernization Program will be implemented to cater to the growing tourist arrivals.
