Decision regarding commencing schools next Monday - Prof G. L. Peiris
The Minister of Education Prof. GL Peiris stated that the decision on whether to commence the 3rd school term next Monday will be based on the advice of health experts.
Addressing a media briefing held in Colombo yesterday, the Minister said that a formal program will be prepared after informing the health authorities and public health inspectors before the commencement of schools.
Minister Prof. GL Peiris further stated that special attention will be paid to the operations when smaller children are brought to schools.
