False propaganda on covid-19 deaths in SL by persons from Japan and Australia - CID to investigate
Police Media Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana states that it has been revealed that the false news propaganda on social media stating that people infected with coronavirus are dying on the streets has been carried out in an organized manner by two persons from Japan and Australia.
He further stated that the CID is investigating the incident and two other persons have been arrested in connection with the false propaganda.
