Colombo Port operations to regain normalcy within coming weekP
The Ports Authority says it is confident of regaining normalcy in operations at the Colombo Port within the coming week.
Its chairman Daya Ratnayake says in a statement that work was under way with the support of manpower agencies and retired employees.
Merchant vessels anchored outside the port will be allowed entry efficiently, it says.
Most of the leading ports in the world have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, it adds.
