Self quarantine for those who left WP
Police Media Spokesperson, DIG Ajith Rohana said that anyone who had left the Western Province (WP) after the imposition of the travel restrictions will be ordered to remain in self quarantine where they are. However, no restrictions have been imposed on persons who enter the Western Province and anyone who enters the Western Province will be permitted to leave the province again after midnight on November 15. He further said that the circular which was issued earlier granting permission for employees of 112 institutions to report to work during curfew using their office ID has been invalidated and it is no longer applicable.
Accordingly, only employees of essential services have been allowed to leave the Western province and others in the Western Province are prohibited from travelling outside the province.
