Police Clearance Report applications temporarily suspended
The Sri Lanka Police has announced a temporary suspension of applications for police clearance certificates following a technical breakdown in the computerized system used to process them.
The Clearance Division, located on the 17th floor of the Suhurupaya Building, Battaramulla, handles the processing, report collection, and printing of clearance certificates.
Police said the system became inactive at 12:50 pm yesterday (20), halting operations.
The Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) has been notified, and measures are underway to restore the system.
Until the system is fully operational, the public has been requested not to submit applications.
Police added that once services resume, applicants may resubmit their requests.
