Sri Lanka Confirms Multiple Middle East Flight Operations
The Civil Aviation Authority says eight flights between Colombo and the Middle East are scheduled to operate today, as several countries in the region gradually reopen their airspace.
Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority, Daminda Rambukwella, stated that Middle Eastern nations are now progressively lifting restrictions and resuming flight operations.
According to Rambukwella, the scheduled flights include:
One FitsAir flight,
Two SriLankan Airlines flights to Riyadh and Dubai,
One FlyDubai flight to Dubai,
One Qatar Airways flight,
Two Emirates flights, and
One Etihad flight.
He confirmed that these services are set to operate as planned today.
