A person who has been engaged in construction in road development work at the Mulla junction on the Kodikamam road in Point Pedro was crushed to death by a road-roller.
The Police stated that the deceased was a 60-year-old resident of Kodimulwala, Nelliady.
The driver of the road-roller has been arrested in connection with the accident.
