Navy arrests Indian fishermen for illegal fishing
Eight Indian fishermen have been arrested for illegally fishing in Sri Lankan waters.
Navy Spokesperson Commander Buddhika Sampath said that the arrests were made early this morning in the sea off Talaimannar.
The Navy has also impounded the vessel and fishing gear which was used by the fishermen.
