
Four arrested with two Valampuri in Ja-Ela
Four suspects have been arrested in Ja-Ela with two Valampuri (conch shells) that were allegedly being prepared for sale at Rs. 1 million.
The suspects, aged between 23 and 26, are residents of Elpitiya, Badugiriya, and Hambantota.
The arrests were made during a raid conducted by Ja-Ela Police based on a tip-off on the evening of May 14.
Investigations are ongoing.
