Advisory for heavy rain issued to 09 districts
The Department of Meteorology has issued an advisory for heavy rains in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and the Galle and Matara districts.
According to the department, the weather advisory is effective until 07.00 am tomorrow (26 Apr).
The department says heavy falls above 100 mm are likely at some places in the said provinces during this period.
