
Sri Lanka's Export Revenue Hits $1.3 Billion in January
The Export Development Board (EDB) has reported that the country's export revenue for January has exceeded $1.3 billion.
The value of service exports for January was $329.37 million, marking a significant 37.87% increase compared to January of the previous year.
Merchandise export revenue for January amounted to $1,004.82 million, reflecting a 3.51% increase compared to January of the previous year.
Agricultural exports showed a notable growth of 14.87% compared to January of the previous year, reaching $258.93 million.
Industrial exports experienced a slight growth of 0.08% in January, with a total value of $745.89 million.
Overall, the total export revenue for January 2025 was reported to be $1,334.19 million.
