Household Income and Expenditure Survey Begins
The Department of Census and Statistics says the Household Income and Expenditure Survey has commenced.
Director General Anoja Seneviratne said that the survey will help determine the country’s poverty line.
The last survey was conducted in 2019.
Anoja Seneviratne explained that while the survey is typically conducted every three years, it was postponed until 2025 due to the economic crisis.
