Former Sri Lanka U-19 Captain shot and killed in Ambalangoda
Sri Lanka Police said investigations are underway to arrest the suspect involved in the shooting that took place in Kanda Mawatha, Ambalangoda on Tuesday (16) night.
Dhammika Niroshana, a former Captain of the Sri Lanka Under-19 cricket team, died in the shooting.
An individual had shot Niroshana while he was at his residence, and fled the scene.
A 12-bore firearm was used for the shooting.
41-year-old Dhammika Niroshana captained the Sri Lanka U-19 cricket team in 2002.
