Kadugannawa Road Closure on Hold Pending Final Decision by NBRO
The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) said that the Colombo - Kandy main road will not be closed today from Lower Kadugannawa, as they have not yet reached a final decision regarding the operation to remove the rock debris in the high-risk zones.
The NBRO said that attention will be drawn to an effective operation without any road closures and are in further discussions with other related parties.
The NBRO advises that if a road closure in this regard is necessary, it will be notified to the public in the future.
