Permission granted to detain and interrogate ‘Manna Ramesh’
Permission has been granted to detain and interrogate notorious criminal Ramesh Priyajanaka alias ‘Manna Ramesh’.
Police Spokesman Attorney DIG Nihal Thalduwa said ‘Manna Ramesh’ will be interrogated for three days.
The Criminal Investigation Department arrested ‘Manna Ramesh’ in Dubai and extradited him to Sri Lanka on Tuesday (07) morning.
He is currently in the custody of the Western Province - South Crimes Division.
32-year-old ‘Manna Ramesh’ is a resident of Napawala in Yalagama, Avissawella.
Ongoing investigations are focused on uncovering more details about the suspect and his crimes including murder, drug trafficking, and extortion.
