Schools to reopen after Sinhala & Hindu New Year holidays.
Government and government-approved private schools will reopen on Wednesday (24) for the second phase of the first school term, following the Sinhala and Hindu New Year holidays.
Schools closed for the holiday on the 10th of April.
Schools will close once again from the 3rd-19th of May.
The Ministry of Education said arrangements were made to conduct the 2023 GCE Ordinary Level Examination during that period.
