Major Drug Smuggler Arrested in Katunayake
Officers from the Crimes Investigation Division of the Katunayake Police arrested a man, suspected of being a major drug supplier and distributor.
The notorious individual is believed to be the primary drug supplier in the Katunayake region.
The suspect, a 44-year-old businessman, was operating a restaurant in the Kanuwana area in Ja-Ela.
At the time of his arrest, the suspect was found in possession of approximately 2 kilograms of Kerala ganja and 50 grams of ICE.
The total value of the confiscated drugs is approximately Rs.2.5 million.
The arrested individual is a father of two.
