28-year-old arrested for theft of a car
A 28-year-old suspect has been arrested from Nittabuwa in connection with the theft of a car from Weeragula area in Gampaha.
Police say that the stolen car was found abandoned in a byroad in the upper Yagoda area in Gampaha.
Police have revealed that another individual was involved in the theft of the car and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspect.
