
Substandard Drugs: CID arrests Human Immunoglobulin importer
The Criminal Investigation Department has arrested the owner of the company that allegedly imported the vials of the substandard Human Immunoglobulin.
The 57-year-old was arrested in Kompanna Veediya.
It was recently revealed that 22,500 vials of Human Immunoglobulin were imported to Sri Lanka using forged documents.
Human Immunoglobulin is a drug manufactured with human blood.
