Sextuplets born at Castle Street Hospital.
The Castle Street Hospital in Colombo has announced the birth of sextuplets today.
Hospital sources said a woman from Ragama has given birth to the six babies.
According to media reports, the woman had birthed six boys this morning, while the mother and children are in good health.
The last sextuplet birth to be reported in Sri Lanka was in October 2021. Three boys and three girls were born during the birth.
